Dr. Khalid Mahmood
Khalid Mahmood is an experienced ophthalmologist with a strong commitment to his profession and patients. Khalid Mahmood holds an M.B.B.S degree from the University of Karachi. He also holds a Diploma in Clinical Trial Research Professional from Kriger Research Group International (Canada) and is a Fellow of the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS). With extensive work experience in both the United Kingdom and Pakistan, Khalid has honed his skills in various medical institutions. In the UK, he worked as a Clinical Observer at Queen’s Medical Centre Nottingham with world authority on Cornea, Professor H.S. Dua and served as a Locum SHO at several hospitals, including Eastbourne General Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital, and University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
In Pakistan, Khalid has made significant contributions to the field of ophthalmology. He is the Consultant Ophthalmologist at Khalid Eye Clinic and has held positions such as Assistant Professor at Al Ibrahim Eye Hospital Isra Postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology and Deputy Director at Al Ibrahim Eye Hospital. He has also worked as a Senior Registrar at Al Ibrahim Eye Hospital and Assistant Director at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Khalid Mahmood’s surgical expertise encompasses various procedures such as LASIK, phacoemulsification, corneal transplants, cataract extraction, and many others. He has performed a large number of surgeries and procedures, demonstrating his commitment to providing quality eye care services.
